Township Rail Tour

Embark on an authentic journey from the heart of the city to Cape Town’s oldest township. Your experience begins with a scenic rail trip from Cape Town Station to Langa, where history and community spirit come alive.

• Tour Times (Half-Day):
  • Departure: Tour starts from Cape Town Station at 09h30.
  • Arrival: Tour ends back at Cape Town Station at 15h30.

• Group Sizes & Private Bookings:
  • Capacity: Minimum 2 guests; maximum 30 guests.
  • Private Tours: Exclusive tours are available. Please clearly indicate “Private Tour” at the time of booking.

• Arrival & Registration: All guests must check in at the “Welcome Lounge” in Cape Town Station at least 30 minutes before departure (09h00). This ensures a smooth start to your heritage journey.
• Departure & Return Point: The train departs from Cape Town Station and returns to the same location. All our tours start from Cape Town Station to ensure a seamless rail-to-township experience.
• Optional Pickup Service: If you require a pickup from your accommodation, please indicate this when booking. We will gladly arrange private transport to bring you to the station.
